Crossing Borders Art Trail

Visitors will be welcome to visit studios of artists across the Scottish Borders and North Northumberland in the first Crossing Borders Art Trail from 5 - 13 September.
This new organisation is a vibrant group of artists and craftspeople living and working within these two areas.
To launch the Art Trail artists have been invited to showcase a piece of work at a two-day exhibition at The Tower, Hawick on 5/6 September.
On 12/13 September a second exhibition is being held at The Maltings, Berwick upon Tweed, as part of its Arts Weekend which will also be offering demonstrations and workshops.
The trail runs from Eyemouth to Innerleithen, Berwick upon Tweed to Wooler and all places in between. Art lovers will surely enjoy this opportunity to meet local artists and see the settings in which they produce and exhibit their works, from the thriving hub of studios to the beautiful countryside surrounding the rural venues.
As well as viewing works in a wide range of styles and media, visitors will also have the opportunity to see pottery and painting demonstrations. The quality and diversity of work produced locally is impressive so why not try to visit as many venues as you can!
To keep up to date with all the latest on the trail visit the website www.crossing-borders.org.uk.
