My First Trout

Borders' fishing guru launches his first book
Eoin Fairgrieve, now reaching the echelons of international fame in the fishing world, has published My First Trout, a beautifully illustrated and clearly written trout fishing book for children.
This takes the young fisher through the basics from all-important water safety to the lifecycle of a trout, anatomy of the fish, what they eat and how to tie a fly. The environmental implications of trout fishing and the code of conduct are also are highlighted and there's a fishing log just waiting for that first catch.
