It's happening at Woodside

Laura our garden columnist has now taken up the post as plant advisor at Woodside Garden Centre, nr Ancrum, so why not go see her and let her advise you on which plants are best for your garden. She really knows her onions cabbages, delphiniums, anything Japonica*, you name it!

To give Laura a break we're devoting this month's gardening column to a splash from Woodside.

Greetings from Woodside Walled Garden!

We hope this finds you in good form and enjoying the fabulous spring weather in your garden. Woodside is looking particularly lovely at the moment (thanks to Susan for her massive spring clean!) with the lush new growth and the ever abundant wildlife. Annie has gone bananas on stocking up for season and we have the biggest ever range of edibles, fruit and herbs for you to try the 'grow-your-own' thing. It really is easy - even young Dan is having a go, and you can see it in action if you take a walk around the KITCHEN GARDEN. Alexis is cropping a harvest already and the resulting rhubarb and orange cake is a treat!

Anyway, hope to see you soon. Here's what happening.............

new this month

........ yet more young vegetable plants, salads, herbs and bedding, bedding, bedding (a polytunnel full). Oh, and beautiful delphiniums just through the gate!
